We still require you to be in average body condition and reasonably fit, open minded to improvisation and to have a general feeling to getting along with a group. Your guide will assist wherever possible but active participation in camp life is expected. Please be aware that due to weather or road conditions, logistical necessities and group consent the itineraries can be altered by either the management or the guide.

The group usually consists of a minimum of four and a maximum of eleven participants.

Meals

We mostly prepare our food with fresh ingredients, healthy and plentiful. We do serve tea, coffee, hot chocolate, iced tea, fruit beverages and various juices, but no alcoholic beverages. We are not able to provide alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own. Any dietary requirements have to be advised at time of reservation. A surcharge may apply if certain specialty diets are required which may have to be ordered from out of town distributors.

Group Reductions

For our summer program one group organizer or tour guide is invited to join the adventure trip complimentary per 10 paying customers. In lieu of a complimentary trip groups of 10 or more can take a 10% price reduction per person. Group reductions do not apply to any advertised “Specials”. For groups of 25 or more please contact us for a special quotation. We can also package special tailored itineraries.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy

To confirm your final reservation we do require your postal mailing address and a Visa or Mastercard Number, expiry date and the full name of the Cardholder. If you do prefer not to send these details via e-mail please phone us at 1 800 226 6322 or 250 674 8212.

After receiving this information a confirmation will be sent to you by e-mail, or postal mail service which will include a Credit Card authorization to be returned with your signature.

At time of reservation we will deduct one third of the purchase price including taxes. The balance of the payment will be deducted from your credit card thirty days prior to your arrival date if we did not receive a cheque or money order in Canadian funds by that time.

In case of Cancellation we will keep a $ 50.00 administration fee per person and refund the rest of your deposit up to 31 days prior to your arrival date. Cancellations received 30 days or less prior to arrival the full amount unfortunately will be forfeited as by then the trip is guaranteed to other participants and we calculate on certain average participation numbers.

Insurance

We do recommend to purchase travel and cancellation insurance. All our trips are suitable for adventurous beginners, but they are still considered high risk activities by insurance companies. All participants have to sign a waiver of liability and release of all claims which is required and designed by the insurance company covering our liability insurance. We highly recommend for you to take out additional insurance covering property loss, loss of income, personal injury, permanent disability and death.
